EMIDIO BUCHINHO
Sound Designer, Operator and Editor | Musician and Composer

Commenced as a self-taught guitarist and musician. Attended Classical
Guitar and Music courses in the Luísa Todi Music and Fine Arts Academy
(Setubal, Portugal) and studied in the Château-Thierry Municipal
Conservatory (France). Member of the choirs of both cities.  
Completed a Film and Sound Engineering course in the Lisbon Film and
Theatre School (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema)
Took part in various workshops on Structures, Forms and New Technologies
in Improvised Music, supervised by Carlos Zíngaro, Peter Kowald and
Richard Teitelbaum.
Participated in concerts and multimedia performances with the likes of
Carlos Zíngaro, Günter Müller, Otomo Yoshihide,  Pedro Leal, Rudiger
Carl, Carlos Santos, Matt Wand, Mike Beck, Nuno Rebelo, Vitor Joaquim,
Manuel Mota, Rodrigo Amado, Marco Franco, Adriana Sá, Ludger Lamers,
Isabelle Schad, Margarida Bettencourt and João Natividade.
Works on a regular basis in the areas of musical composition, performance
and production, sound engineering and design, special effects, soundtracks
for films, documentaries, art installations, stage plays, dance, performance
art, video art, multimedia and television advertising in Portugal, Spain,
France, Germany and the UK. Collaborators include Jorge Silva Melo,
Luís Fonseca, Fernando Lopes (RTP1), Pedro Sena Nunes,
João César Monteiro, António de Macedo (RTP2), Paulo Rocha (RTP2),
Walter Avancinni (SIC), Serge Korber (F3), Sandro Aguilar, José Barahona,
Rita Palma, Marta Pessoa, Jeremy Cooper (BBC), Margarita Ledo
(TV Galicia), Paulo Mendes, Joana Fernandes, Antonino Solmer,
Fernanda Lapa, Teatro Meridional, Teatro da Cornucópia, Teatro da Comuna,
Olga Roriz, Diamantino Ferreira, Marco Martins, Gideon Nell e Edson Ataíde.
As Sound Recordist and Editor for cinema and audio-visual productions,
taught lessons in ESTC - Film and Theatre School, ETIC -Technic School
of Image and Communication and RESTART - Creativity School and New
Technologies, all in Lisbon, including various workshops and conferences.

CLAUDIA BANDEIRA
Artist | Graphic Designer

Born on 9th of June of 1978, in the city of Évora, Portugal. Lived and studied in Évora until the age of 18 years old, where she developed tile- setting and music. Then went to the city of Lisbon, where she initiated her course of studies in theFine Arts of University of Lisbon.
She developed her interest and knowledge connected to the audio visual
production and directing, given to this artist vein. In the field of audio visual
effects she was invited by the Évora City Hall, to participate in a street animation named “Viva a Rua”, during the summer time. By participating in this project born some work blend in video, music, light and installation. Until the year of 2001 she produces about twelve experimental videos and only in 2002 she produces her first short cut named “Confluences”, wich gave her the first prize in the category of video of the City Hall of Évora contest, named “Urban Ambient”.
Linked to the interactive arts she takes a course between 2002 and 2003 of
MAX / MSP / JITTER.
In 2003 she produces two short cuts named “5 CM to Death” (Prize for Best
Photography in the national competition of the 11th International Festival of
Short Films of Vila do Conde, reprentation of portuguese video in Macau and in
XII Bienal of Young Artists of Europe and Mediterrain in Naples, Italy
“Mehr Licht” (Honorary Mention in the III Biennial of Young Art of Vila Verde)
and “City Run” (1º Prize in the Marathon of Digital Video, organised by
Restart - School of Creativity and New Technologies).
Between 2004 and 2005 she dedicated her work on multi areas of arts,
like video, drawing, ilustration and graphic design.
